advancing attitude?
has technology changed our lifes or what! move aside faxing, lettering, dial up-ing and telephoning. it's the era of SMSing, wireless connectivity-ing, chatting and teleconferencing. the effects to the attitude of the users are tremendous. let me share two examples of such incidents that happened this week.
teleconferencing: it's the thing when you want to talk to many all at once on the phone. but come some scary encounter, which comes with the ability of the handphones to record the conversation, emerged a foul mouther. in plain public sight, and to someone close at heart. maternal instincts says to protect those close to the heart. and protect we did.
chats: love in the chat room or any similar platforms. when love comes, love may also go. then comes heartaches, denial and anger. in angst and denial, these two un-loved birds decided to take it out on each other. though silently, they pour out their hearts at each other for the whole world to see. they try to be on top of the other, and hope that the world will butt in to be the moderator and announce the better winner. well, that is not always the case, as many come out enjoying the wonderful show of "Bedroom Secrets Revealed". and no, love does not mean sacrificing one's values and principles in plain public sight for the world to see and comment on. get that right to use it appropriately.
to avoid seeing more of these, please ensure proper use of these advancing technologies. technology advances in a very scary pace and in the near future, it could simply bring out a killer in the heartaching, denialing and angering us. scary mary boy!
